Choose a hero and fight alongside computer-controlled allies against the enemy team. Push through three lanes of towers and barracks, land the final hits on creeps to earn gold, build from 42 items, and contest power runes and the river boss. Destroy the enemy Ancient before they destroy yours.

24 Heroes

Choose from tanks, healers, summoners, and assassins—each with four abilities mapped to Q, W, E, and R. Level up as you battle, learn abilities in any order, and choose a permanent boon at levels 10, 15, 20, and 25.

Three Lanes to Break

Towers guard each lane and target creeps first—unless you attack an enemy hero within their reach. Destroy a lane’s barracks, and your creeps in that lane grow stronger for the rest of the match.

Gold, Items, and Runes

Land the final hit on enemy creeps to earn gold, and deny your own creeps to keep it from the enemy. Shop from 42 items, send your courier to deliver them, and claim the power rune that appears in the river every two minutes.
