Immortals

Help & Support

Everything you need to play Immortals, the free 3D hero battle game from JPAM.

How to Play

Immortals is a battle between two sides, the Sunward and the Gloam. Draft one of twenty-four heroes and fight beside computer teammates. Waves of creeps march down three lanes, guarded by towers and barracks. Break through a lane and shatter the enemy Ancient to win, while you defend your own.

Controls

  • Move and attack: right-click on the ground or on an enemy.
  • Abilities: Q, W, E and R. To learn or upgrade an ability, hold Shift and press its key.
  • Items: 1 to 6.
  • Shop: B. Recall home: T. Boons: N.
  • Camera: C changes the camera angle, and Space centres it on your hero.
  • Scoreboard: Tab. Ping the map: hold Alt and click.
  • Teleport: tap the minimap or the map near an allied building; press again to go home.

On a phone or tablet, turn your device sideways: Immortals plays in landscape, with touch controls.

Gold and Items

Land the final hit on enemy creeps to earn their gold, and last-hit your own dying creeps to deny the enemy theirs. Press B to open the shop. At your fountain, purchases go straight to your inventory; elsewhere, the courier brings them out to you. You can sell an item you own for half its price, and keep spare items in your backpack. If your hero falls, you can pay gold to buy back and return at once.

Towers and Barracks

Towers target creeps first, unless you strike an enemy hero within their reach. Destroying a lane’s barracks makes your creeps in that lane stronger for the rest of the match; break every barracks and they become mega creeps.

Runes, Night and the River Boss

A power rune appears in the river every two minutes. At night every hero sees less: place a Watcher Totem to keep a lane safe. The Old Warden waits in its pit by the river; gather your team before you take it on.

Boons

Boons are permanent upgrades for your hero. Choose one at each of levels 10, 15, 20 and 25: press N when a boon is available.

The Intro

A short intro, with sound, plays each time you open Immortals, while the game loads: select Tap to start to begin it. Tap anywhere, press any key, or select Skip intro to go straight on. To watch it again, select Watch the intro on the loading screen, or the i button at the top of the screen.

Loading, Fullscreen and System Needs

Immortals is a full 3D game. The first time you play, it downloads about 34 MB; your browser then keeps the game files, so it starts much faster next time. A progress bar shows how far the download has come.

Select the ⛶ button at the top right for fullscreen. The i button beside it opens Help, Privacy and the intro.

Immortals needs a current browser with WebGL 2: a recent version of Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Edge. It plays best on a computer with a mouse and keyboard. On a phone or tablet, close other apps and tabs first, as the game needs plenty of memory. If the game doesn’t start, reload the page; if it still won’t start, turn on hardware acceleration in your browser settings.

Your Settings

No account is required. Your game settings are stored in your browser on this device. Clearing your browser data or using a private browsing window starts afresh, and the game downloads again.
