Night Mile guide

Night Mile is a race against your own fuel gauge. Each stage starts with a full tank that drains every second, and the only way to keep going is to catch the glowing cyan fuel cars. Here is how to stretch every drop and push your score.

How it works

Steer through traffic, catch fuel cars, and cross each finish line before the needle reaches E. There are four stages: Harbor Causeway, Pinewood Pass, Salt Flat Highway and Neon Downtown, each longer and busier. Clear all four and they return as harder laps.

Touching a cyan fuel car gives +25% fuel and 1,000 points.

Controls

  • Phone and tablet: swipe left or right to steer (hold to keep turning, flick to change one lane). Hold GAS to accelerate; NITRO and BRAKE sit beside it. Prefer buttons? Choose Arrows on the main menu.
  • Keyboard: arrow keys or W A S D to drive, Space for nitro, P to pause, M for sound, V to change the camera.
  • Auto throttle (T on a keyboard) accelerates for you, so you only steer, brake and fire nitro.

Scoring

  • Pass cars at close range for near-miss combos.
  • Side-swipe cars into the barrier for takedowns.
  • Finish each stage with fuel to spare: every percent left in the tank is worth 50 points.
  • Harder levels multiply every point: ×1.5 on Medium, ×2 on Hard, ×3 on Expert.

Tips

  • Fuel first, combos second. A combo is worth nothing if the run ends on the shoulder.
  • Line up for fuel cars early. Change lanes while they are still far ahead rather than swerving at the last moment.
  • Save nitro for straights, where you can see the traffic coming.
  • Watch for oil slicks from the second stage onward. If you spin, steer the opposite way and ease off the gas.
  • Pick the difficulty that you can finish. Easy has slower fuel burn and more fuel cars; Expert is rush hour with scarce fuel. A finished Hard run often beats a crashed Expert one.

Every car in the Garage drives the same, so choose the one you like the look of.
