How to Shoot
On a Phone or Tablet
Drag anywhere on the table to turn the cue, or tap the spot you want to aim at. To shoot, grab the cue itself and pull it back—the further you pull, the harder the shot, and the power is shown beside your finger—then let go. You can also pull the power bar down instead. This works in both the top view and the 3D view.
With a Mouse
Drag on the table to turn the cue, or click the spot you want to aim at. Then grab the cue, pull it back to set the power, and release to shoot. Scroll for fine aim.
In the 3D view, the camera follows the cue ball through the first moments of each shot, then rises to show the whole table.
Spin
Tap the cue-ball control beside the table to choose where the cue tip strikes the ball:
- Low for draw (backspin)
- High for follow
- Left or right for side spin
Double-tap the control to return to centre ball. The aim guide shows the cue ball’s expected path.
Keyboard Controls
← → Aim · Hold Space to set the power, then release to shoot · C Switch camera · R Replay the previous shot
Nine-Ball Rules
- Always hit the lowest-numbered ball on the table first.
- Pot the 9-ball on a legal shot to win the rack—even early in the game.
- After a foul, your opponent receives ball in hand and may place the cue ball anywhere on the table.
- On the first shot after the break, the player at the table may choose to play a push out.
- Committing three consecutive fouls results in the loss of the rack.
Ways to Play

Two Players
Take turns playing on the same device.
Practice
Enjoy a free table with no clock and no opponent.
Your Profile and Table Code
The first time you play, enter your player name and choose your country. Your name and flag are shown to opponents and on the leaderboard. To change them later, tap Edit on the main menu.
When you’re online, the main menu also shows your table code: four letters or numbers that stay the same. Friends type this code to sit down at your table.
Playing with a Friend Online
- One player selects Online and taps Open my table, then sends their table code—or taps Copy invite to share a link.
- The other player selects Online, enters the code under Join a friend, and taps Join. Alternatively, they can simply open the invitation link.
- The player who opened the table breaks first. Use the quick-chat buttons to send friendly messages during the match.
Both players need an internet connection. Some school, office, and public Wi-Fi networks block direct connections between devices. If you cannot connect, try using mobile data or a home network.
Saving Your Account
Your trophies, wins, and rating against the computer are kept for this device as a guest. To keep them on every device, tap Save account with a password on the main menu and choose a password.
- On another device, tap Sign in with your code, then enter your table code and password. Anything you played there as a guest is added to your account.
- To change your password, tap Change password on the main menu. Forgot the current one? Tap Set a new one under the form: being signed in on this device is enough.
- After five wrong passwords, the account is locked for 10 minutes.
- Add a recovery email on the main menu (under your account) in case you forget your table code or password.
Forgot Your Code or Password?
Tap Sign in with your code, then Forgot your code or password?, and enter your recovery email. We’ll email your table code and a reset code; open the link or enter the code to choose a new password. Without a recovery email, check a device you’re still signed in on: your table code is on its main menu, and you can set a new password there.
Ranked Games and the Leaderboard
Save your account with a password first. Then select Online and tap Find opponent under Ranked match.
- You will be paired with a player near your rating for a race to three racks.
- Your rating changes only when both players’ games report the same winner.
- Leaving a ranked match and failing to return within 45 seconds counts as a loss.
- Tap Leaderboard on the main menu to view the top 100 players by online rating or by trophies, worldwide or for one country.
Deleting Your Account
When you’re signed in to a saved account, tap Delete account on the main menu, then tap it again to confirm. Your account, rating, trophies, and match record will be removed immediately. To remove a guest record, email [email protected].
Troubleshooting
“The 3D engine didn’t load”
Check your internet connection, then reload the page. After your first visit, the game is saved in your browser, allowing matches against the computer to work offline.
The game feels slow
Set Graphics to Balanced on the main menu. Closing other browser tabs may also improve performance on older phones and computers.
